Michael Mathias is the Founder and CEO of DasCoin. He has over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, including the past 10 years as a digital technology entrepreneur. He was Founder and President of location-based social media company Mojo Media (acquired in October, 2014), as well as Founder and CEO of marketplace network TREKA and online gaming company Change Gaming. Previously, he spent 10 years as a strategic consultant working with a variety of business clients including JP Morgan Chase’s Private Bank, and 5 years as a marketing executive in the financial services industry with American Express and T. Rowe Price. He is a graduate of Princeton University and a resident of Sliema, Malta.
Terry O’Hearn is the Founder and Executive Director of DasFinancial. He is a successful entrepreneur with over 30 years experience in corporate finance, commodities, retail and technology. He was Founder and CEO of the retail business Outdoor Access Group, the technology company iMOZI Canada Inc. and the corporate finance and commodities business Taymad International Corp. He was also Founder and President of DOLFIN Developments West Ltd & Safari Corporation – a technology company. He attended Sir Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Calgary and is a resident of Phuket, Thailand.
Soon Hock Lim is a technopreneur and investor with more than 30 years experience, best known for transforming the revenue of Compaq Computer Asia Pacific from US$30 million to US$1 billion in just seven years. He currently sits on the boards of several government agencies, public listed and private companies. His experience in corporate governance has allowed DasCoin to create a diverse and inclusive leadership structure. As a charter Director of the DasCoin board, he oversees the formation of sub-committees to ensure levels of compliance on par with those upheld by major global businesses. He is a resident of the Republic of Singapore and attended the University of Singapore and the National University of Singapore.
The former global Executive Vice President of Volvo CE, Dr. Eberhard Wedekind is an investment and private equity expert. Over a six year period in Asia he was simultaneously President of Volvo CE Asia and Managing Director Volvo East Asia at the Volvo Group. Drawing on his experience working for major public companies in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, and the UK, Dr. Wedekind brings a global perspective and cultural understanding to support and guide the operation of the currency. His goal is to create a world-class governance model for DasCoin, reinforcing trust, transparency, and compliance within the DasNet ecosystem. He is a permanent resident of Singapore and attended the University of Bonn in Germany. He received his PhD in business administration from the University of Bonn and MIT.
Founder and Managing Partner of VC, seed and PE funds, serial entrepreneur and Board Member of companies in the USA and Poland, Anna Hejka has been awarded the honor of being named a Global Leader for Tomorrow by The World Economic Forum in Davos. A Business Angel, she’s a veteran financial analyst (Barcelona), Investment (NY, Warsaw) and Corporate Banker (Madrid). An experienced mentor, speaker and lecturer she is Advisor to the President of Poland, Ministry of Economy, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Polish Development Bank, World Bank and European Commission on Innovation. A strategic thinker with rigorous attention to execution Anna has broad industry experience conducting business across cultures and economic cycles.
A regional advisor to the World Bank, founder of two MBA courses and an ex-advisor to the White House, Prof. Vinh has 30 years of professional, technical, and management experience in more than 20 countries in the Asian-Pacific, European, and West African regions. His expertise includes economic development strategies, business restructuring and enterprise reform, public-private partnerships, project and infrastructure finance, and private participation in infrastructure. He has extensive experience in gaming regulations and business development in Vietnam, including traditional and electronic lottery, instant tickets, sports betting, and casino.
